ADHD In Women Infographic and Poster Design

  • For this project, I was tasked with creating an infographic about a subject I feel passionate about. As a young woman who was diagnosed with ADHD in college, I know firsthand how the disorder can impact your work, studies, relationships, and other aspects of life. ADHD appears differently in everyone, but there is a significant difference in the diagnosis process for women and people assigned female at birth.

  • I began this project by diving into research about this topic (spoiler alert: there's not a ton out there). Some of the standout information from this step included forms of ADHD, symptom types, sterotypes, and steps towards diagnoses.

After research, I categorized my findings to more concise visualization. My biggest goal was to share important information in the most succinct way. Being a woman with ADHD aided me with an extra level of consideration for how to present information to others with short attention spans. I knew I wanted to make the piece simple to understand while also being visually stimulating.
